DMCA Policy.
How to send SilvaBit AI a copyright takedown notice, and how to counter-notice if you believe a notice was wrong. We respect copyright. We also don't act on vague accusations.
Effective date: 23 October 2026
SilvaBit AI ("SilvaBit") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of silvabitai.com (the "Site") to do the same. This policy sets out how SilvaBit AI handles notifications of claimed copyright infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable principles in the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market.
1. Our Designated Agent.
Notices of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to our Designated Agent:
DMCA Agent, SilvaBit AI
24 Belvedere Court, Dublin 2, D02 YF34, Ireland
Email: [email protected]
2. How to submit a takedown notice.
To be effective under this policy, your notice must include the following, all in writing (email is acceptable):
- An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or the person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information sufficient for us to locate it on the Site (URL, screenshot, or exact file path).
- Your contact information: full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
Incomplete notices will not be processed. We may ask for clarification before acting.
3. What happens after we receive a notice.
Within 7 business days of receiving a complete, good-faith notice, we will:
- Review the notice.
- Where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material in question.
- Notify the user who posted the material (where identifiable) of the removal, with a copy of the notice.
- Repeat-offender policy — accounts with multiple validated infringements may be suspended or terminated.
4. Counter-notice.
If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed in error.
- Your contact information.
- A statement of consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district (for U.S. filers) or Dublin, Ireland (otherwise).
We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed material.
5. Misrepresentation.
Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or that it was removed in error) may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under applicable copyright law.
6. Not legal advice.
This policy is informational. If you're uncertain about your rights, speak with an attorney before filing or responding to a notice.
7. Contact.
