From Zero to Automated:
The Timeline Nobody Shares With You.

Trading platforms love to show you a dashboard and skip the on-ramp. Here is the real six-month journey of a brand new SilvaBit AI user — the day one feels like, the day thirty confusion, the first withdrawal, and the quiet rhythm after.

Timeline notes and planning

If you've read a trading platform's marketing page, you know the shape of the pitch. There's a hero image, a dashboard, and a CTA. What's missing from almost every pitch is the honest answer to one question: "what's the next six months of my life actually going to look like?"

This article answers it. Day by day, week by week, with the awkward middle included — not just the shiny end.

Day 1 — Registration.

Thirty seconds. You create the account, confirm your email, land in the dashboard, and get the first surprise: everything is in observation mode. The agent is explaining what it would do, not placing any trades. Nothing has been deposited.

Most users ignore this and immediately look for the fund button. We recommend you don't.

Days 2–7 — Observation.

Open the dashboard a few times a day. Watch what the agent proposed and skipped. Read the rationale notes. You'll notice something: the agent passes on more trades than it takes.

This is where many users feel a small internal argument. "Why isn't it doing more?" The answer: because taking fewer, better trades is the whole product. If you can't sit with that, SilvaBit AI is probably not the right workspace for you — and we'd rather you learn that for free in week one than for €2,000 in month three.

Days 8–14 — Partner broker setup.

If you want to go live, you'll connect a partner broker. You pick from the shortlist, complete the broker's KYC (identification, address, source of funds — standard regulatory work), and connect the account to SilvaBit.

Expect this to take between a few hours and a few days depending on your broker's verification queue. This part is boring and you should plan for it to be boring.

Day 15 — First funding.

Here is advice we want to repeat four times: fund with capital you can lose entirely without affecting your life.

If €500 would hurt, don't deposit €500. Deposit €100 to start. The point is to live the whole product — opening orders, surviving your first drawdown, pressing the pause button — not to maximise early returns.

Day 15–30 — First live orders.

With funds in place, the agent starts opening real positions. The first week of live trading is often less exciting than observation mode suggested. The agent passes on more trades than you expected. Position sizes are smaller than you expected.

You'll have your first real loss somewhere in this window. If you don't, you're either lucky or sized too small to notice.

Read the rationale on the losing trade. It will almost always be a sensible decision that didn't play out — which is what every losing trade in a working strategy looks like.

Day 20 or so — The temptation.

Around three weeks in, most users feel the itch to adjust something. "What if I widen the loss band so it can hold through this drawdown?" "What if I let the agent take more trades per day?" "What if I add my own trades on top?"

Resist all three. We call this the three-week temptation. It is the single most expensive instinct in the entire journey.

If you can resist it for the first 90 days, you will have internalised a discipline that most retail traders never learn.

Day 45 — First pause event.

Statistically, somewhere between day 30 and day 60, you'll trip a loss band. The agent pauses. The dashboard shows a clear explanation. Your reflex will be to immediately override.

Instead: close the browser, sleep on it, return the next day, read the rationale, and resume at the same band. You just completed the single most important feedback loop in SilvaBit AI.

Day 60 — First withdrawal.

If your account is in profit, do the first withdrawal around day 60. Not because you need the cash — but because living the fee loop (8% split with the broker) and the bank-side flow is a part of understanding the product. Withdraw a small amount. Confirm it lands. Note the fee. Carry on.

Day 90 — The first honest review.

Three months in, open the trade log and ask yourself four questions:

  1. Did I widen any threshold during a loss? If yes, that's what to fix next quarter.
  2. Did I place discretionary trades on top of the agent's? If yes, measure whether they helped or hurt.
  3. Did the agent explain its calls in a way I understood? If not, send examples to support — they're often UI issues we fix fast.
  4. Would I keep using this if the first 90 days repeated exactly? If yes, you're in. If no, you've just saved yourself a year of indecision.

Months 4–6 — Rhythm.

By month four, SilvaBit AI starts to feel like a utility rather than a project. You open the dashboard once a day, read the overnight summary, and move on. You might withdraw monthly or quarterly depending on your situation. Loss bands rarely trip because you've calibrated them properly.

This is what success actually looks like. It is unspectacular. It is why most users stay.

The honest end-of-timeline summary. After six months you will not be rich. You will have (hopefully) a compounding account, a clearer understanding of how markets move, a habit of reading rationale instead of charts, and the discipline to not override your own loss framework. Those four things are a far better outcome than "10x in a quarter." They're also the only outcomes a well-built AI workspace can actually produce.

What this journey is not.

This is not a path to replace a job. This is not passive income. This is not an escape from your current life. SilvaBit AI is a workspace for people who want to trade better than they would alone — not a magic machine.

If a product is sold to you as a replacement for your salary, that product is probably not SilvaBit AI, and you should be sceptical.

Ready to start on day one? Open your account. Already registered and in the middle somewhere? Read our rationale dictionary or threshold deep-dive — they're the pieces that matter most in months two and three.

Trading involves significant risk. AI analysis does not guarantee a profit. You can lose some or all of your deposited capital.
