Cookie Policy.

Effective date: 23 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how SilvaBit AI ("SilvaBit", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on silvabitai.com (the "Site"). It complements our Pravila o privatnosti.

1. What a cookie is.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to recognise your device across pages or sessions. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and small JavaScript identifiers — this policy covers all of them.

2. Why we use cookies.

We use a small number of cookies for the following purposes:

• Strictly necessary — to let the Site and dashboard function (session cookies, security tokens, form protection).
• Preference — to remember your display preferences, language, and dashboard layout.
• Analytics — to understand how the Site is used in aggregate, so we can improve it.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Categories of cookies, in detail.

Strictly necessary cookies.

These cookies are required for the Site to work and cannot be disabled through our consent banner. They include:

• Session identifiers for logged-in dashboard users.
• Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) tokens on forms.
• Cookie-consent recordings so we don't re-ask on every page.

Typical lifespan: session only, or up to 12 months for the consent record.

Preference cookies.

These remember your UI choices across visits. Disabling them means your preferences reset each visit.

Typical lifespan: 12 months.

Analytics cookies.

These collect anonymous information about how the Site is used (pages visited, time on page, approximate region of visit). We use the data in aggregated form only. Analytics cookies set only if you consent via our banner.

Typical lifespan: 24 months.

4. Third-party cookies.

Some cookies are set by services we use to run the Site, such as our analytics provider and our customer support ticketing platform. These third parties process cookie data under their own privacy policies, which we review before integration. We never permit third-party advertising or retargeting cookies on the Site.

5. How to control cookies.

You have multiple layers of control:

• Our consent banner — the primary way to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
• Your browser settings — you can block or delete cookies via your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge all have cookie controls). This may affect how the Site behaves.
• Do Not Track — we honour browser-level "Do Not Track" signals by disabling analytics cookies by default when such a signal is present.

6. Changes to this policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our tooling evolves. We'll keep the "Effective date" current and, for material changes, we'll re-prompt your consent via the banner.
